# Information Technology Operations Lead

The SRE Operations Lead will be responsible for defining and establishing the SRE governance framework and operational model for the client's environment. The role will work closely with client service delivery, engineering, operations and SRE stakeholders to assess current ways of working, identify gaps and opportunities, and design a scalable, standardized and outcome-oriented SRE operating model. The successful candidate will combine SRE technical expertise, IT operations leadership, service management and consulting skills. They will be expected to translate the client's current operational challenges into a practical target operating model covering governance, roles and responsibilities, service reliability, incident/problem management, operational readiness, metrics and continual improvement. The role will also provide senior leadership during the transition from the existing model to the proposed SREled operating model Qualifications 8+ years of experience in IT operations, SRE, DevOps, platform engineering or related disciplines. 5+ years of experience in SRE/DevOps/reliability leadership roles.
