This is a hands-on technical role, not limited to dashboard development.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and optimize Power BI solutions, including advanced DAX, Power Query M, semantic models, and star schemas.\nLead end-to-end Power BI migration to GCP, including assessment, refactoring, data validation, cutover, and stabilization.\nDevelop and optimize BigQuery SQL, LookML models, views, Explores, dimensions, and measures.\nTroubleshoot performance issues across Power BI, BigQuery, and LookML.\nManage Power BI Service, refresh schedules, gateways, workspaces, security, and governance.\nImplement Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and deployment best practices.\nCollaborate with data engineering teams on data integration, migration, and production support.\nMandatory Skills\nAdvanced Power BI, including DAX, Power Query M, Power BI Desktop, and Power BI Service.\nHands-on BigQuery SQL development and LookML engineering.\nStrong SQL, data modeling, semantic modeling, and performance optimization skills.\nExperience with GCP migration or a major source-platform migration.\nPractical experience with Python automation, Git, and CI/CD.\nProven experience managing production refreshes, gateways, security, and workspace governance.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with Dataflow, Datastream, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Composer/Airflow, Dataform, or dbt.\nIntegration experience with SQL Server, Oracle, SAP, Snowflake, Databricks, or REST APIs.\nPower BI capacity planning, XMLA/REST API automation, and paginated reports.\nExperience Requirements\n10+ years in BI/Data Engineering.\n5+ years of hands-on Power BI experience.\n3+ years in architecture or technical leadership, or equivalent delivery experience.\nImportant: Candidates with only dashboard development experience will not be suitable.
