You’ll play a critical part in creating the tools to ensure safety in vaccines, medicines, food, and water.\nResponsibilities\nCreate and document architectural designs following input from stakeholders \nAct as architectural design authority and enforce adherence to high level design and implementation best practices \nEstablish best practices for AWS architectures, Agentic Engineering, Security, and DevSecOps\nCodify use of hexagonal architecture in development practice \nSocialize the architecture, train team members, and update stakeholders on key architecture changes \nBe hands on with teams involved in implementing architectural designs \nProduce proofs of concept in high-risk areas to de-risk architecture \nResolve challenges in complex technical issues \nSeek out and provide guidance on improving engineering practices and technologies\nMentor others on architectural concepts and infrastructure\nQualifications\nWhat will make you a successful Cloud Architect at Waters:\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience \nSolid experience in application architecture, database architecture, and security \nProven experience designing and delivering cloud platform solutions, AWS Well-Architected Framework\nExperience in Agentic Development and Agentic Engineering practices\nDomain-Driven Design of microservices, polyglot storage, Data Meshes\nAPI design\nProficiency in designing Multi-tenant SaaS applications with high-volume transactions,\nStrong understanding of computer science algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and testing methodologies \nDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively across internal and external organizations\nExtensive experience with .NET and .NET Core \nPreferred Qualifications\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect certification \nFamiliar with TOGAF 9 or ISO 42010:2011 \nWe're actively building diverse teams and welcome applications from everyone.
