Working with the engineering team to ensure non-conformances are captured, root causes are found and preventative actions are found and implemented.\nResponsibilities\nCompletion of in-process and final inspection of products and relevant paperwork.\nProgramming, setting and running CMM inspection equipment.\nTo compile First Article Inspection Reports.\nEnsure all inspection equipment is calibrated.\nIdentify improvement to existing inspection processes and equipment.\nPurchase of new/replacement inspection equipment.\nCreation of NCR’s.\nSPC analysis and reporting.\n1st off inspection of rapid prototype component.\nMaintaining, monitoring and reporting of KPI’s.\nSupport root cause analysis.\nQualifications\nEducation:\n HND or equivalent in an engineering discipline and/or proven work experience in a similar role.\nExperience:\nProven knowledge of ISO 9001.\nAbility to read technical drawings.\nUnderstanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).\nExperienced in the use of CMM software including, CALYPSO, PCDMIS, MCOSMOS.\nExperienced in the use of manual inspection techniques.\nExperienced in the use of SPC software.\nExperienced in the generation of LAIR’s & FAIR’s.\nExperience in calibration of measurement equipment. \nCompetencies:\nGood written and oral communication skills are required, for example to ensure detailed report generation, effective communication with staff, peer groups, etc. across the organisation.\nMust be able to work independently and communicate with all levels of the organisation.\nComputer literate - knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel an advantage \nCompany Description\nWaters Corporation (NYSE:WAT) is a global leader in life sciences and diagnostics, dedicated to accelerating the benefits of pioneering science through analytical technologies, informatics, and service.
