The Application Chemist will do sample analysis across multiple types of applications (not limited to), Food & Environment, Chemical Materials, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences with a focus onThermal Analysis instrumentation.\nResponsibilities\nSales supporting such as customer co-visiting, documents generation, solution presentation, etc.\nProvide application consultancy services and technical support to end users\nConduct or support local seminars, marketing events and solution demonstration on the customer sites.\nPlan, localize and implement diversified business development programs according to program codes in related industries.\nWork closely with sales to achieve and exceed business goals.\nPerform instrument demonstrations and provide expert advice to customers during the sales process, focusing on how Waters system solutions will address and benefit the customer’s needs.\nPerform system and application training as well as technical sponsor to customers after the product has been installed.\nTeamwork with Marketing, Service and Sales teams to collect, evaluate, and forecast the local business data.\nQualifications\nEducation:\nMaster’s degree, or PhD in scientific areas such as physics, chemistry, materials science and engineering.\nExperience:\n3+ years scientific instrument experience.\nExperience with TMA, DMA, DSC, TGA, etc. will be a plus. \nSkills:\nSound communication and presentation skills\nHighly organized / well-prepared / time management skills\nMatured disposition, positive attitude and strong sense of commitment\nAdaptive to a dynamic and ever-changing environment\nAction oriented and eager to achieve results\nStrong interactive skills and a good listener\nCompany Description\nWaters Corporation (NYSE:WAT) is a global leader in life sciences and diagnostics, dedicated to accelerating the benefits of pioneering science through analytical technologies, informatics, and service.
