We are currently seeking a Cloud Senior Engineer to work in one of our Cloud Development teams. We believe strongly in the value of personal development, and provide support and dedicated time for our people to pursue their development.\nResponsibilities\nRole specific:\nContribute to the development and maintenance of all aspects of the applications and services owned by the relevant cloud team (App or platform)\nComplete detailed designs and development of stories as directed by the technical lead to a high-quality standard\nCollaborate with stakeholders, Product Owners and Technical Leads on software and technical issues. \nCollaborate within and across teams to improve working practices and skill levels \nAct as a mentor to junior team members. \nDemonstrate significant judgement in technical matters and act on solutions under own guidance.\nProvide code and supporting documentation in accordance with our Software Development Processes and codes of practice. \nIndividual \nComplete Quality System related actions in a timely manner according to procedures\nAdhere to Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures.\nQualifications\n1. Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent) in science, computing engineering subjects.\nExperience required:\n1. Min 6-7 years of experience in an environment developing innovative customer solutions\n2. Extensive knowledge and proven experience as a software developer, with exposure to elements of our back-end technology stack (C#, .NET)\n3. Strong experience working within a Cloud software engineering environment, especially using Amazon Web Services\n4. Proven experience completing detailed designs and development of stories - preferably using TDD.\n5. Good experience developing microservices and APIs\nDesirable:\n· Continuous delivery, with pipelines implemented in Kubernetes, Docker\n· Experience using GitHub and GitHub Actions\n· Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), with Gherkin & SpecFlow\n· Atlassian Jira, Confluence & JFrog Artifactory\n· Software security best practices and implementation (e.g. OWASP, PKI, X509 Certificates, TLS)\n· Software development for regulated environments (e.g. 21CFR11)\nAptitude/skills required:\n6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.\n7. Excellent interpersonal skills.\n8. Proven ability to work as part of an agile delivery team\n9. Ability to analyse and solve complex problems.\n10.
