scalability, standardization, and adherence to best practices\nDefine enterprise-wide SAC Planning design standards, development frameworks, and reusable solution patterns.\nLead model optimization initiatives to improve planning performance, scalability, and maintainability.\nDesign cross-functional planning solutions spanning Financial, Workforce, Sales, and Operational Planning.\nConduct architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise data, security, and analytics standards.\nEvaluate and recommend new SAC Planning capabilities and roadmap features for adoption.\nDevelopment & Delivery of SAC Components- Must Have\nOversee and contribute to development of SAC Stories and input templates\nLead design and build of visualization dashboards and analytical reports\nDrive backend and UI enhancements for global reporting solutions\nEnsure high performance and usability across SAC deliverables\nLead development of SAC Analytic Applications using scripting and advanced user interaction capabilities.\nDesign and implement planning workflows using SAC Calendar, Task Chains, and Process Management features.\nEstablish development standards, coding guidelines, and peer review processes for SAC deliverables.\nCreate reusable templates, widgets, and reporting components to accelerate solution delivery.\nEnsure accessibility, usability, and responsive design standards across all planning applications.\nExpertise in SAC Analytic Applications and JavaScript scripting.\nStrong experience with Advanced Formulas, Data Actions, Multi Actions, and Calendar Processes.\nAdvanced Calculations & Data Actions- Must Have\nDesign and implement complex calculation logic within SAC models\nLead development of Data Actions to automate planning processes\nOptimize performance and ensure accuracy across planning scenarios\nEstablish development standards and conduct quality reviews\nDesign and optimize Advanced Formula scripts for complex planning, allocation, and forecasting requirements.\nDevelop Multi Actions to automate end-to-end planning and approval processes.\nBuild driver-based planning, top-down and bottom-up forecasting models.\nImplement allocations, currency conversion, intercompany eliminations, and spreading logic.\nConduct performance tuning of Data Actions, calculations, and planning models to minimize processing time.\nGlobal Reporting & Enhancements- Must Have\nManage and deliver global SAC report enhancements and changes\nCoordinate backend data model changes and UI updates\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions\nDrive continuous improvement across planning and reporting processes\nLead planning and execution of global reporting releases and enhancement roadmaps.\nStandardize KPI definitions, calculations, and reporting frameworks across business functions.\nDrive self-service reporting capabilities and user adoption initiatives.\nPerform impact assessments for enhancement requests and define scalable implementation approaches.\nEnsure reporting consistency across regions, business units, and planning cycles.\nData Integration & Ecosystem Alignment- Good to Have\nArchitect and oversee data integration from source systems using APIs and flat-file uploads\nEnsure data consistency, integrity, and governance across SAC environments\nCollaborate with upstream systems and integration teams to resolve issues\nAlign SAC solutions with Waters’ enterprise data and analytics strategy\nDesign integration architectures between SAC and SAP Datasphere, BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, and non-SAP systems.\nLead data mapping, transformation, and validation activities across source systems.\nDefine data quality controls, reconciliation processes, and governance standards.\nSupport integration troubleshooting and performance optimization activities.\nCollaborate with enterprise data architects to align planning models with the organization's data strategy.\nLeadership & Stakeholder Engagement- Good to Have\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams\nAct as the primary point of contact for SAC Planning initiatives\nPartner with global stakeholders across IT, Finance, and Operations\nLead solution discovery workshops and planning requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders.\nMentor and coach developers on SAC Planning best practices, advanced scripting, and solution design.\nReview technical designs, code, and deliverables to ensure quality and consistency.\nDrive estimation, sprint planning, release planning, and delivery governance activities.\nAct as escalation point for complex technical and functional issues across planning workstreams.\nManage interactions with SAP product support for complex incidents and product enhancement requests.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications Must Have\nExtensive hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (Planning)\nStrong expertise in planning model design, hierarchies, and dimensions\nProven experience in SAC Story development, dashboards, and reporting\nAdvanced knowledge of Data Actions, calculations, and scripting in SAC\nExperience with data integration (APIs, flat files, ETL processes)\nStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills\nAbility to deliver in a global, cross-functional environment\nQualifications\nPreferred Qualifications- Good to Have\nExperience in enterprise-wide planning and global reporting implementations\nFamiliarity with SAP ecosystem (S/4HANA, BW, Datasphere, etc.)\nExposure to financial and operational planning processes\nSAC Planning certification preferred\nExperience managing onshore/offshore delivery
