In this role, you will be working in a fast-paced, agile environment with a team of diverse engineers that possess a true passion for technology. You will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our global eCommerce implementation, harnessing the power of SAP Hybris/SAP Commerce Cloud, Hybris PIM, Cloud, Mobile App and brand new Waters.com site powered by Adobe Experience suite.\nA successful candidate will have a solid understanding of SAP Hybris ecommerce for B2B and a passion for modern digital eCommerce solutions. As a senior developer in a team environment, you will work with solution architects and developers on architecture, technical design and various B2B eCommerce features to drive revenue for the business. A self-starter attitude, excellent communication, and dedication to innovation are critical to this role.\nThis is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced developer who can balance coding excellence, architectural insight, and mentoring within an agile, high-impact environment.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nLead end-to-end SAP Commerce Cloud development projects, translating business goals into technical solutions. \nDesign and deliver scalable, high-performing, and maintainable Commerce experiences \nMentor developers and promote best practices in coding, testing, and agile collaboration. \nPartner with cross-functional teams in UX, Design, and Product to deliver seamless customer experiences. \nDrive continuous improvement through modern engineering practices and automation. \nQualifications\n10 or more years of software development including at least 5 years of in-depth Hybris eCommerce technical/coding knowledge and extensive working experience is required \nMinimum of 2-3 years of delivery lead / project leadership experience in managing Hybris full life cycle implementations is required \nExperience with Agile methodologies, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Cloud Service Models, and DevOps \nStrong understanding of the entire eCommerce development process, including design, development and deployment, with back-end knowledge \nStrong knowledge and experience with technical platforms like Demandware, Hybris/SAP Commerce Cloud, Hybris PIM, IBM WebSphere or other eCommerce platforms \nExperience leading efforts in agile/scrum environments with knowledge of project planning, staffing, and estimating in an agile software development process. \nExperience managing off-shore teams as well as SI partners \nStrong verbal, presentation and written communication skills \nExcellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, solve them quickly \nBEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES\nOperates with integrity, transparency and humility \nActs as a true company owner to advance the overall interests of Waters \nCarries a broad global perspective of markets, tech, and trends \nBalances clear strategic thinking and accountability in execution to deliver results \nActively creates the conditions for Waters’ people and teams to succeed \nEDUCATION:\nBachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology or related experience\nCompany Description\nWaters Corporation (NYSE:WAT) is a global leader in analytical instruments, separations technologies, and software, serving the life, materials, food, and environmental sciences for over 65 years.
