This role oversees CNC programming support, quality assurance, machine maintenance, process improvement, manpower management, and capital equipment projects. You will ensure the manufacturing facility operates safely, efficiently, and cost effectively while meeting customer quality and delivery requirements. This role will be based in Verna, Goa.\n\nYou Will Make an Impact By:\nDeveloping, optimizing, and troubleshooting CNC machining processes for milling, turning, and multi-axis centers.\nSelecting cutting tools, fixtures, work-holding systems, and optimal machining parameters.\nSupporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and process validation to improve cycle times, efficiency, and productivity.\nEvaluating manufacturing requirements to recommend CNC machinery, automation technologies, and factory expansion layouts.\nPreparing technical specifications, supporting Capex proposals, and coordinating procurement with suppliers and purchasing teams.\nLeading machine installation, commissioning, utility connection coordination (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic), and final process qualification.\nCoordinating with internal maintenance teams and OEMs to implement preventive/predictive maintenance programs and minimize machine downtime.\nMonitoring overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) while managing critical spare parts and documentation.\nSupervising, allocating manpower, and monitoring the performance of CNC operators, setters, programmers, and technicians.\nDesigning and conducting employee training and competency development programs for newly installed equipment and processes.\nDriving Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce rejection/rework and lower costs.\nPartnering with production, planning, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure cross-functional alignment.\nEnforcing compliance with workplace safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and implementing corrective actions.\n\nRequired Qualifications for Consideration:\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical / production / manufacturing engineering or a related discipline.\n8 years of experience in CNC machining and manufacturing operations with at least 5 years of experience managing CNC production teams.\nExperience in machine installation, commissioning, and process development is highly desirable\nExperience in CNC Milling, Turning, VMC, HMC, Multi-Axis Machining, laser cutting deburring and other secondary processes, CNC Programming and process optimization, tooling and fixture design\nExperience in CAD/CAM Software (Mastercam, NX CAM, SolidCAM, Fusion 360, etc.)\n\nYou Will Excite Us If You:\nHave experience with machine procurement, installation, and commissioning.\nAre exposed to automated manufacturing systems, robotics, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.\nWorked with CNC machine manufacturers \nHave experience in other manufacturing processes like molding.\n\nWhy ANDREW?\nExplore exciting career opportunities at ANDREW, part of the Amphenol family.
