We are currently seeking a junior OneStream AI Engineer to build AI-enabled planning, forecasting and automation capabilities on the OneStream platform for federal clients. The role sits within Andrew Morgan’s OneStream Center of Excellence and would be suitable for someone with at least two years of experience who wants to grow at the intersection of AI and federal financial management.\nAbout the OneStream Center of Excellence\nAndrew Morgan’s OneStream Center of Excellence delivers OneStream implementations for federal clients, including the Department of War and various Federal Civilian Agencies. The practice supports budget formulation and execution, financial reporting, financial close and workforce planning under frameworks such as PPBE and OMB Circular A-11, and integrates OneStream with source systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Momentum, Oracle etc.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nThe engineer will build, test and support AI capabilities inside OneStream environments, working under the direction of senior architects in the Center of Excellence.\n Forecasting and machine learning: Configure and tune predictive forecasts using OneStream’s SensibleAI Forecast (formerly Sensible ML), including data preparation, feature and driver selection, model evaluation and accuracy reporting.\nAI solution development: Build AI-enabled workflows with SensibleAI Studio and its Routines, such as anomaly detection, variance summarization and natural-language data queries, and help configure SensibleAI Agents for finance users.\n OneStream development: Write and maintain business rules (VB.NET or C#), dashboards, cube views and data integrations that feed and consume AI outputs.\nData engineering: Prepare and validate financial and operational data from source systems such as SAP S/4HANA, including data quality checks and transformation logic.\nFederal budget use cases: Apply AI to budget formulation, execution and reporting needs, such as spend forecasting, financial close, execution variance analysis and narrative commentary for PPBE and OMB Circular A-11 deliverables.\nGovernance and documentation: Document models, assumptions and results so that AI outputs are transparent, explainable and auditable for federal stakeholders.\nClient support: Join requirements sessions, demos and user training, and translate client questions into technical tasks.\nPractice building: Contribute reusable accelerators, templates and lessons learned to the Center of Excellence.\nREQUIREMENTS:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, finance or a related field, or equivalent experience.\nA minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software development, data engineering, data science or enterprise application implementation.\nWorking knowledge of Python and SQL, and experience with at least one object-oriented language such as C# or VB.NET.\nHands-on exposure to machine learning or statistical forecasting, such as time-series models, regression or anomaly detection.\nFamiliarity with generative AI concepts, such as large language models, prompt design and retrieval-augmented generation.\nComfort working with financial or operational data, including data cleansing, validation and reconciliation.\nClear written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical results to finance users.\nU.S. citizenship and eligibility for a federal security clearance or public trust are expected for this role.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nOneStream experience is a strong plus but not required; candidates with solid AI and data skills who are eager to learn the platform are encouraged to apply.\nHands-on OneStream experience, such as business rules, cube views, dashboards, workflow or data integration.\nOneStream certification (OCA/OCP) or OneStream training courses (Mirco Certifications)\nExposure to OneStream’s SensibleAI portfolio (Forecast, Studio or Agents).\nExperience with other corporate performance management or ERP platforms, such as SAP, Oracle EPM/Hyperion or Anaplan.\nUnderstanding of federal financial management, including PPBE, appropriations, OMB Circular A-11 or DoW financial systems.\nPrior work on federal or DoW contracts.\nExperience with Azure, AWS or other cloud ML services, and with tools such as pandas, scikit-learn or Jupyter.\nAn active security clearance.\nSALARY:\nBase Salary: $90,000 - $130,000\nSalary is commensurate with both location and experience.\nTHE AM EMPLOYEE WILL DISPLAY…\nAttention to Detail: Produce high-quality deliverables and outputs that align with contract outcomes.\nSelf-Sufficiency: Execute tasks independently, seeking client assistance only after internal resources are exhausted, ensuring requests align with contract goals.\nTeamwork: Collaborate effectively with team members, including AMC resources, subcontractors, and government stakeholders.\nCommunication/Engagement: Maintain professional conduct in meetings and written communication, participating actively with cameras on.\nResponsiveness: Stay engaged, communicate promptly, and ensure deadlines are consistently met.\nABOUT ANDREW MORGAN…\nAndrew Morgan LLC, founded in 2017 and headquartered in Alexandria, VA, is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
