Waters is a world leader in life science technologies with nearly $3B in annual revenue-and our digital ecosystem is a key driver of that success.\nOur platforms power eCommerce and digital services in 100+ countries and 10+ languages, supporting multiple customer segments through Waters.com and a variety of digital commerce channels including eCommerce, eProcurement, and EDI.\nIf you’re excited by impactful work on a global scale, let’s talk.\nResponsibilities\nOwn end-to-end performance coverage identify bottlenecks and work with the Engineering teams to address issues.\nPlans testing activities milestones: Identifies and analyzes risks and their potential business impact to determine proper prioritization of the testing activities; Suggests and handles mitigations and escalations as part of risk assessment.\nCollaborate with operations and application engineering teams to design and execute production day scenarios that will help enhance emergency response processes\nContributes to the Quality strategy within the delivery team.\nPassion and drive for Performance, Scalability and Reliability of all systems.\nContribute to a culture of continuous improvement and agile development. \nQualifications\nBE/B.Tech or Equivalent with 5+ years\nDeep technical skill in performance engineering and tuning of complex distributed computing systems, especially in cloud-based environments.\nProven experience with JMeter and Blazemeter\nExperience in using UI profilers and deep knowledge of chrome developer tools\nDeep Understanding of JVM (Java Virtual Machine) and garbage collector tuning, heap dump \nExperience evaluating and interpreting large volume of production data using tools like Datadog or Splunk to know efficiency, latency, memory, and CPU utilization\nExperience working with microservices architecture design pattern.\nUnderstanding of performance measurements, especially around UI scrolling performance and network use.\nExperience of whole project lifecycle.
