You will work closely with laboratories across the Nordic region, helping customers solve complex analytical challenges and make informed decisions about their next technology investment.\nWe are particularly interested in candidates with strong experience in PFAS analysis, Environmental Testing, and Food Safety applications, who enjoy building trusted customer relationships and delivering scientific solutions that make a meaningful impact.\nResponsibilities\nKey Responsibilities\nDeliver engaging LCMS demonstrations, customer sample analyses, and technical presentations that support customer success and business growth.\nPartner with customers to understand their analytical challenges and identify the most effective scientific solutions.\nProvide expert application support, troubleshooting, and workflow guidance across LCMS platforms.\nSupport customer evaluations, proof-of-concept studies, and technology assessments.\nAct as a subject matter expert in Food Safety, Environmental Testing, and PFAS applications.\nCollaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, R&D, and fellow Application Scientists across Europe.\nSupport the introduction and demonstration of new technologies and workflows.\nDeliver clear, high-quality reports and presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nContribute to knowledge sharing and mentoring within the Applications Team.\nRepresent Waters at customer events, workshops, seminars, and scientific conferences.\nQualifications\nWhat Will Make You Successful\nEducation\nBSc, MSc, or PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Food Science, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.\nExperience\nExtensive hands-on LCMS method development, validation, and troubleshooting experience.\nStrong knowledge of chromatography, mass spectrometry, and associated software platforms (MassLynx and/or waters_connect preferred).\nFlexibility to develop skills across different applications is needed, however we are keen to hear from candidates who have experience in any of the following areas: Metabolite Identification, Bio-analysis, ADME, Screening and structural elucidation, Materials Science, Food safety/screening (including PFAS), Environmental analysis (including PFAS)\nExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.\nStrong project management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities.\nCustomer-facing experience, including demonstrations, scientific presentations, training, or technical support.\nHighly Desirable\nSignificant experience in PFAS analysis.\nExpertise in Environmental Testing, including water, soil, wastewater, and related matrices.\nExperience in Food Safety and Contaminant Screening applications.\nUnderstanding of applicable EPA, EU, ISO, and other regulatory requirements.\nExperience supporting instrument evaluations and customer decision-making processes.\nKnowledge of HRMS, MS/MS, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and large dataset interpretation.\nWhy You'll Thrive at Waters\nAt Waters, we believe diverse perspectives drive innovation and scientific excellence.
