This is a very hands-on role and on-site 5 days a week.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nB.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a similar degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field. \n2 to 5 years of professional hands-on experience in Mechanical Engineering.\nUp to 20% of travel may be required between locations.\nAbility to travel for work-related purposes as needed; access to reliable transportation is required due to the nature of our business and multiple client sites.\nMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.\nBackground checks are required.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nExperience in CAD (NX) with solid drafting skills. \nExperience in GD&T techniques and knowledge of associated metrology approaches.\nExpertise working with overseas vendors, including but not limited to communication, DFMs, schedules, tooling issues, and some night calls.\nTesting and analysis experience (FEA, Simulation, Zemax, Ray Tracing, etc.).\nExperience with high-volume products.\nExperience delivering multiple successful consumer products to production from concept inception to shipping products.\nDesign for manufacture and assembly experience.\nProficiency in presenting engineering designs, proposals, and reports.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nIn this role you will work within ambiguity in a fast-paced environment and help guide clients and teammates through various challenges.\nThis person will be a team player and will be willing to take on any task to help the project and teammates succeed. \nYou will have a customer service mentality when working with various clients. \nYou are able to work well with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally. \n Why join the Andrews Cooper team?
