As the OEM for many of the world’s leading brands, we have the solutions and services to transform our customers' business to meet tomorrow’s changing demands - wherever they are and whatever their separation challenge.\nPosition Summary: The Area Sales Manager will be servicing and growing the Installed Base of equipment in the assigned territory by selling repair services, refurbishments, upgrades, parts, process optimization, and equipment training. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for covering all ANDRITZ Separation product lines including centrifuges, belt filter presses, screens, and ancillary equipment. They will report to the Regional Service Sales Manager and work very closely with the various Service Center Managers and Product Specialists.\nPrinciple Duties:\nCalls on customers in the Area on a regular basis to increase order intake.\nMaintains active communications with respective in-house personnel.\nCommunicate customer visits in writing via CIC reports in an established, timely and consistent manner.\nRepresents all product lines assigned on each customer visit.\nAssure customer satisfaction throughout the Area.\nResponsible for Area forecasts, budgets, and cost controls. \nMaintain established customer base and develop new relationships.\nPeriodically evaluate effectiveness of key account sales strategies and tactics.\nAssist in co-coordinating ANDRITZ activities in each account.\nPass on sales opportunities/leads to the ANDRITZ Capital Sales group.\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent relevant experience.\n Experience is a must in the Industrial (Petrochemical/Pulp & Paper/General Chemical) and Municipal Industry (Water & Wastewater)\nProven experience in sales, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including team leadership.\nEstablished relationships with customers in the area is preferred.\nStrong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and practices.\nExceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.\nWillingness to travel (overnight travel is required).\nCompetencies:\nConsider implications of financial decisions and suggests methods for meeting needs of staff and the organization overall.\nPresents complex information articulately when meeting with key executives or public officials regarding a high-visibility issue.\nAssesses
