He will work in collaboration with other installation coordinators, the site managers and supervisors as well as the project management team. The scope of a hydro-electric power project will include all aspects of Turbine and generator installation. This position is based in the ANDRITZ office in Pointe-Claire with visits to sites.\nThis position is based in the ANDRITZ office in Pointe-Claire (hybrid position - 3 days in the office, 2 days work from home), and some short visits to Hydro plants across Canada can be expected (a few times per year).\nDuring the preparation and planning phase:\nReview and understand the design and the installation scope of work ;\nActively participates to Design reviews ;\nPrepares the installation plan ;\no Finalizes man-hours estimate ;\no Prepares the schedule for installation scope ;\no Reviews the budget estimate and adjust as necessary ;\nCoordinates the preparation of the installation manuals and other installation related documents ;\nPrepares and optimizes the site staff requirements (supervision and labour) ;\nPrepares the tooling lists and coordinates procurement ;\nPrepares purchase specifications and negotiates with subcontractor in coordination with Procurement (in the case of subcontracted installation) ;\nPrepares the site infrastructures, parts layout and storage plans ;\nParticipates in Risk assessments.\nDuring the execution phase:\nEnsures the site team is aware of the installation plan and performs regular follow-ups, including going to site ;\nTechnically support the site team ;\nCoordinates with Design Engineering technical problems resolution ;\nLeads schedule updates, short-term planning and progress reports ;\nAnalyses the installation costs and progress, including the analysis of deviations.\nWhy do you fit the profile?\nSuccessful teams share objectives, but also values!
