This position will provide critical insights to drive strategic decision-making,\noptimize financial performance, and ensure the company’s continued growth in the engineering,\nconstruction, and manufacturing sectors.\nIdeal Candidate Profile\nThe ideal candidate will have financial analysis experience within a manufacturing, engineering, construction, or project-based environment, with demonstrated experience analyzing project costs, budgets, forecasts, variances, and profitability.\nThe successful candidate will bring advanced Excel and strong SQL/database skills, along with the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial and operational data. Experience with manufacturing cost analysis, project/job costing, WIP, cost-to-complete analysis, or engineering/construction project financial performance is highly valued.\nKey Responsibilities\nPrepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements,\nto identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement\nAssist in the development and maintenance of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, collaborating with\ndepartment heads to align financial goals with operational plans\nConduct detailed cost analysis for engineering, construction, and manufacturing projects, identifying\ncost-saving opportunities and ensuring project profitability\nBuild and maintain financial models to support capital investment decisions, project evaluations, and\nlong-term strategic planning\nTrack and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to financial and operational performance,\nproviding actionable insights to senior management\nPerform variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing\nexplanations and recommendations to address discrepancies\nSupport pricing and bid analysis by evaluating target margins, cost structures, and risk assumptions.\nAnalyze margin trends by project type, customer, and business line\nCollaborate with project managers and engineering teams to evaluate project financial performance,\nincluding cost overruns, revenue recognition, and profitability\nIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial\nreporting and analysis\nEnsure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
