By joining ANDRITZ Canada, you are contributing to the development of sustainable technology, a clean future, and the maintenance of a proud Canadian's expertise.\nFrom water to wire - Be part of the movement!\nSummary of the role\nReporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Human Resources Advisor will serve as HR generalist, supporting the full range of human resources activities for the Peterborough location and the new Brantford facility (July 2027).\nThe incumbent will provide trusted guidance to employees and managers and play an active role in administering HR programs and processes, as well as addressing employee relations matters.\nResponsibilities\nServe as an HR business partner to employees and managers, providing guidance on employee engagement, performance management, development, and labor relations;\nLead recruitment activities for hourly employees in collaboration with hiring managers;\nCoordinate the onboarding and integration of new employees;\nCollaborate with the project team to support the establishment of the new Brantford, Ontario facility scheduled to operate in July 2027, including the development of employee recruitment, onboarding, and training plans;\nContribute actively to the annual performance review and salary planning processes;\nServe as a key point of contact for HR-related inquiries and advise managers on human resources policies, programs, and processes;\nManage short-term and long-term disability cases, maintaining regular communication with employees, the insurance provider, and the relevant managers;\nParticipate in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of human resources policies and procedures;\nContribute to the creation and enhancement of HR tools and support special projects;\nSupport the full employee lifecycle, including the creation, maintenance, and confidentiality of electronic personnel files;\nPrepare and distribute monthly HR reports.\nWhy do you fit the profile?\nSuccessful teams share objectives, but also values! As our projects have large scopes and often require years to be completed, your perseverance will be valued with us.\nBachelor’s degree in human resources management, industrial relations, or a related field;\nCHRP designation is considered an asset;\nMinimum of five (5) years of relevant HR generalist experience.\nExperience working in a unionized environment is mandatory.\nExperience with integrated human resources information systems, such as SuccessFactors and/or Workday, is considered an asset;\nSound knowledge of employment and labor legislation, with demonstrated experience providing HR advice and guidance;\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
