The Role
Under the direction of the Working Shop Supervisor, the CNC Lathe Operator is responsible for Initiating machining processes, tool selections, feeds, and speeds for a variety of materials.
Requirements
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Key Result Items
- Maintain production rates according to established standards.
- Notify Supervisor with any problems of procedures or equipment.
- Performs set-ups and operate CNC Lathe Machine
- Maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees.
- Maintain high awareness of safety procedures.

Job Specific Competencies
- Capable of using a micrometer, calipers, and hand tools
- Ability to read blueprints
- Skilled on an overhead crane
- Can read and Edit “G” Code Programming
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years experience operating CNC lathes
Physical Requirements
As required to individually perform Key Result items. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
