Provide basic technical support and troubleshooting for machinery and equipment, respond to customer inquiries and resolve simple issues via phone, email, or onsite visits. Assist in routine maintenance tasks, equipment inspections and troubleshooting. Escalate complex issues to higher-level engineers or specialists as necessary.\nMedium knowledge of CAD systems - able to create 2D and 3D drawings. Good knowledge of material science, manufacturing processes and engineering calculations. Basic knowledge of machinery design and global standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesigns products such as engines, machines, instruments, controls, or robots.\nWorks with a design team to create design sketches, layouts, and plans.\nUses computer-assisted design (CAD) software to create preliminary and detailed drawings of the product. Create 2D and 3D drawings in Catia V6\nProduces specifications for products and chooses raw materials and components to be used in production.\nBuilds models and prototypes of the product and tests the design.\nStudies the test data and makes comparisons with similar designs.\nDevelops control systems and monitors production.\nCreate and Modify bill of materials in SAP application.\nProvide engineering calculations for Mechanical systems\nCapable of determining correct material specifications and tolerances\nOn-site inspections, review and recommendations\nGlobal standards and norms/ Schuler norms\nMetalforming and automation equipment knowledge\nMaterial science and manufacturing processes\nIn-house and on-site Schuler equipment troubleshooting\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\n\nJob Specific Competencies\n\nBasic understanding of machinery and equipment.\nExcellent mechanical and technical skills.\nProficient user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)\nProficient with computer-assisted design (CAD) software.
