We are at the forefront of future engineering technologies, with solutions that ensure the success of our clients in key industries that are shaping the future of the world we live in.\nBrief Description\nThe Plant Engineering Lead will have overall responsibility to lead, mentor, and develop the Project\nEngineering and Structural Engineering Departments. This position will report to the Director of\nEngineering and will lead the group that provides Process, Mechanical and Structural Engineering support,\ncalculations, and equipment sizing for a wide variety of air pollution control projects: baghouse fabric filters,\ncirculating dry scrubbers, sorbent injection equipment, material handling systems, regenerative thermal\noxidizers, and wet electrostatic precipitators.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage the engineering workload among the team members.\nSupervise the preparation of mass and energy balances, piping and instrument diagrams, heat transfer\ncalculations, pressure drop calculations, and fan and material-handling sizing, etc.\nSupervise the preparation equipment specifications and review vendor bids for compliance with project\nrequirements.\nAssign plant engineering resources to projects.\nDrive continuous improvement by establishing procedures, implementing system changes, monitoring\nperformance, and making corrections as needed while ensuring compliance with quality and safety\nguidelines.\nUtilize Autodesk Construction Cloud and other data analysis tools to gather and analyze project data,\nensuring accurate reporting on project progress, productivity, and standards adherence.\nGenerate regular reports for management, providing insights into key performance indicators and\nrecommending improvements.\nAssist the Director of Engineering with performance reviews and facilitating professional development\nfor team members.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership.\nStrive to improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs, and to reduce waste.\nAdvocate on behalf of team members and secure the resources needed for the team to excel, including\nresearching and proposing capital investments.\nHelp create and oversee project budgets and engage in cost management strategies.\nCollaborate with project managers to define and provide timely updates on plant engineering scope,\nbudgets, timelines, and deliverables.\nEvaluate and recommend new CAD tools and technologies that align with the company's needs.\nDevelop and maintain (Required)\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.\n5+ years of related engineering experience.\nPrior experience leading a team of engineers.\nExperience using CAD platforms and SAP software.\nOther Valued Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Preferred)\nFamiliarity with continuous improvement methodologies a plus.\nExperience in managing large-scale
