The ideal candidate will primarily focus on budgets, managing actuals against original budget plans and cost to come. This role offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to tackle challenging tasks and grow professionally.\nKey Responsibilities\nCreation of initial project forecast from participation in the Sales to Contract Execution handover\nPerform complex tasks in project estimating, change documentation, and cost control\nMonthly and quarterly forecast preparation: reconciling budget versus actuals and analyzing variances, risks, and opportunity tracking\nReport to portfolio level on forecast variances and manage changes to cost on a monthly and quarterly basis\nAnalyze and track change requests/variation orders received from customers\nAssist with sales planning and billings to customers\nManage multiple projects with budgets ranging from $500K to $100MM+\nCollaborate with other departments to develop budgets/forecasts and review actual performance.\nPreparation of proposal and claim packages\nRepresenting the Project Manager in their absence\nRequirements\nBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Engineering, or Construction Management.\nExperience in project controls, finance, and budgeting\nStrong analytical skills and experience with financial data interpretation\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities\nExperience with managing multiple projects simultaneously\nExperience in Government Contracting is a plus\nStrong computer skills with an emphasis on MS Excel (MS Excel, Access, Word, Project, SAP)\nJoin our team and leverage your expertise to drive successful project outcomes and efficient financial operations.
