Our Project Managers are expected to understand the engineering behind the solutions being delivered and engage directly with customers on technical, commercial, and project execution matters. Successful candidates can confidently participate in design reviews, discuss engineering concepts with customers, evaluate technical risks, and lead projects from concept through commissioning.\nYou will manage a portfolio of approximately 3 to 5 active projects simultaneously, leading projects from contract award through engineering, procurement, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and customer acceptance.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead projects through the full lifecycle from kickoff through closeout.\nManage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and customer expectations.\nServe as the primary customer contact throughout project execution.\nEstablish and maintain strong customer relationships.\nCoordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, vendors, subcontractors, and field resources.\nFacilitate engineering review meetings and technical discussions with customers.\nMonitor project financial performance and drive corrective actions when needed.\nManage project risks, scope changes, claims, and commercial impacts.\nCommunicate project status and key milestones to customers and internal leadership.\nSupport installation, startup, commissioning, and final project turnover activities.\nEnsure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and according to contract requirements.\nProject Scope & Portfolio\nProject Managers typically manage 3 to 5 active projects simultaneously, with project values ranging from approximately $500K to $50M.\nProjects may include:\nNew industrial facility builds\nEquipment installations\nPlant expansions\nFacility upgrades and modernization efforts\nRetrofit projects\nProcess improvements\nEnvironmental and emissions-control systems\nCapital equipment implementations\nMulti-disciplinary engineering and construction projects\nEPC and equipment supply projects\nSuccessful candidates are comfortable balancing multiple projects at various stages of execution while managing customer relationships, budgets, schedules, technical requirements, and project risks.\nTechnical Leadership Expectations\nSuccessful Project Managers at ANDRITZ do more than manage schedules.\nThey are expected to:\nUnderstand project designs, engineering concepts, and technical requirements.\nParticipate in engineering and design review discussions.\nReview drawings, specifications, equipment layouts, and technical documentation.\nWork closely with mechanical, process, electrical, controls, manufacturing, and field teams.\nEvaluate how engineering decisions impact project scope, schedule, budget, and risk.\nSupport resolution of technical challenges throughout project execution.\nCommunicate technical concepts effectively with customers and project teams.\nBuild credibility with customers through a solid understanding of the systems and equipment being delivered.\nAsk the right questions and challenge assumptions when potential risks or design concerns arise.\nThe ideal candidate is a technically strong project leader who can understand engineering designs, discuss technical solutions with customers, and successfully execute complex industrial projects from concept through commissioning.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.\n5+ years of experience in project management, project engineering, program management, capital project execution, or technical project leadership.\nExperience managing industrial, manufacturing, automation, capital equipment, process equipment, power generation, environmental, or EPC projects.\nExperience managing project schedules, budgets, customer communications, and overall project execution.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPMP Certification.\nMechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Process, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering background.\nExperience managing projects valued between $500K and $50M+.\nExperience with new builds, upgrades, and retrofit projects.\nInstallation, startup, commissioning, or field execution experience.\nCustomer-facing project leadership experience.\nContract management and change-order experience.\nExperience reviewing engineering drawings, technical specifications, and equipment documentation.\nExperience in air pollution control, environmental systems, process industries, or heavy industrial projects.\nIdeal Candidate Background\nCandidates with experience in the
