This is a hands-on role focused on supervision, inspection, documentation, and direct involvement in quality control activities from in-process checks through final customer reports.\nJOB RESPONSABILITIES AND TASKS\nThe Quality Control Supervisor‘s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:\nShop Floor SupervisionSupervise daily shop operations and production activities\nAssign work, set priorities, and balance workloads\nMaintain a strong hands-on presence on the shop floor\nEnsure work is performed according to drawings, procedures, and specifications\nResolve production and quality issues in real time\n\nQuality ControlPerform and oversee in-process and final inspections\nVerify parts and assemblies meet specifications, blueprints, and customer requirements\nUse inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools\nIdentify defects, non-conformances, and quality trends\nInitiate corrective actions and work with operators to prevent repeat issues\nMaintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation\n\nCustomer Reporting & DocumentationCreate, maintain, and review in-process inspection reports\nPrepare final inspection and quality reports for customers\nEnsure all reports are accurate, complete, and meet customer and contractual requirements\nCompile inspection data, measurements, and certifications as required\nSupport customer audits, quality reviews, and documentation requests\nCommunicate quality results and concerns to management and customers as needed\n\nSafety & ComplianceEnforce safety rules and proper PPE usage\nPromote a clean, organized, and safe work environment\nParticipate in incident investigations and corrective actions\nEnsure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations\n\nPeople LeadershipTrain and coach operators on quality standards and inspection methods\nProvide feedback on performance and quality expectations\nSupport onboarding and training of new employees\nMaintain consistent communication between shop floor and management\n\nContinuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and workflow\nReduce scrap, rework, and customer returns\nSupport Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives\nCollaborate with management, engineering, and quality teams\n\nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS\nEducation: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production shop floor environment.\nPrior experience in quality control, product inspection, or shop floor supervision is preferred.\nExperience working within an ISO-certified manufacturing environment is preferred.\nAll qualified applicants
