The Site Manager shall direct the work specified, shall be present at the site during erection and shall be responsible for providing complete and correct direction of installation work, the initial starting, and subsequent operation of the equipment until the field tests are completed. The Superintendent is responsible for following safety procedures. The Site Manager shall initiate instructions for actions to inspect, handle, assemble and test the equipment.\nThe following responsibilities form the core of this role:\nHiring and managing site labor and site subcontractors\nResponsible for managing the labor hours allocated to the project.\nResponsible for managing site costs and inventories.\nPrimary contact to union dispatcher when applicable.\nManaging supervision team.\nManaging site schedule and providing feedback to the project manager/scheduler as required.\nManagement of health, safety and environmental matters.\nPreparation of site logs using ANDRITZ tools and procedures. \nConduct daily “toolbox” meetings.\nCompletion of punch-list items. \nManage customer relations on site.\nManage claims and change orders; Maintain documentation of site conditions.\nAdherence to customer / ANDRITZ requirements as related to the work site.\nAssist in controlling project costs, cost recovery (claims), administration and project execution.\nReport to in-office project managers the status of projects.\nReport to manager all problems and actions that need resolution.\nResponsibility of periodic reporting.\nDo you fit the profile?\nSuccessful teams share objectives, and they also share values!
