Using engineering and procurement documentation, project specifications, and inspection and test plans, you will supervise the implementation of client quality requirements and standards to ensure that manufactured hydroelectric components/equipment are following Andritz’ high-quality standards. This position is geared towards long-term career development within our organization.\nThe following responsibilities form the core of this role in our Canadian team.\nAnalyze ordering specifications, technical documents, industrial designs, inspection and test plans, and ensure that these documents give a complete and accurate description of Andritz’ compliance requirements to suppliers;\nThrough inspection and monitoring, track the implementation of procedures and inspection and test plans (ITP);\nSupervise inspections and client hold points;\nManage quality compilations/reports (Quality Reports);\nFollow up on supplier non-compliance and the implementation of corrective or preventive actions;\nPerform in-depth analysis of critical non-compliance (8D - Root Cause Analysis);\nActively participate in supplier/sub-supplier qualification through quality audits, and participate in client audits as needed;\nSupport the development of control tools or procedures, and quality assurance;\nParticipate in design reviews with suppliers;\nPerform inspections for critical components in suppliers;\nFrequent national & international Travel minimum fifty (50%) of work schedule.\nWhy do you fit the profile?\nSuccessful teams share objectives, but also values!
