We will shape it.\nThe Role\nAndromeda's infrastructure team designs, deploys, and operates large-scale GPU clusters for AI labs and compute providers. The Deployment Engineer runs cluster builds on site, from hardware delivery to ready-for-service. You direct integrators and contractors day to day, own the punch list, and hand over a validated cluster to operations. You report to the Head of Infrastructure.\nWhat You'll Own\nOn-site execution: Receiving, rack and stack, cabling, power-on, firmware, burn-in, and acceptance testing.\n\nVendor management: Daily direction of integrators and contractors against the build plan.\n\nQuality: Inspection against design, punch lists, and closure before acceptance.\n\nHandover: Documentation, as-built records, and a clean handover to the operations team.\n\nRunbooks: Deployment runbooks and checklists that shorten the next build.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nGPU deployments: You have deployed GPU servers or clusters in production data centers.\n\nSystems skills: Linux, BMC and Redfish, firmware management, and hardware diagnostics.\n\nLiquid cooling: Experience commissioning direct liquid-cooled racks.\n\nOwnership: You run a site without close supervision and escalate early.\n\nTravel: You can spend periods on site.\n\nStrong Candidates May Have\nRack-scale systems: GB200 or GB300 NVL72 bring-up.\n\nAutomation: Scripting for provisioning, burn-in, and inventory.\n\nIntegrator background: Experience at an OEM or systems integrator delivering large builds.\n\nWhy You'll Love It Here\nLead builds end to end and see clusters go from crates to production\n\nShape the deployment playbook from the first builds\n\nHigh talent density, high trust team shaping the compute market\n\nComprehensive benefits for you and your dependents, including healthcare, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), and unlimited PTO\n\nAndromeda Cluster is an equal opportunity employer.
