As a Client Service Representative, you are the face of our bank, displaying our exceptional customer service to everyone that comes through our doors.\nAfter a full training, you will complete teller functions, opening new checking and savings accounts/services along with handling moderately complex transactions professionally and accurately. In addition, you'll be responsible for understanding the financial needs of clients, and providing outstanding solutions-based service. You'll create strong relationships with clients enabling you to provide them with personalized service, including recognizing other financial service needs such as mortgages, commercial loans and investment services, and referring those customers to appropriate banking specialists.\nCandidates for this position should possess exceptional customer service skills, a sales orientation and a high degree of accuracy in managing cash and following procedures. The ability to engage with business and individual clients in an engaging, professional manner is key to success, as is your ability to work well with your team of coworkers.\nWhile no experience in banking is required, we are happy seek advanced placement in a higher level role for experienced candidates.\nAdditional Responsibilities Include:\nReceives checks and cash for deposit to savings and checking accounts, verifies deposit amounts, examines checks for endorsement and negotiability, and enters transactions into bank records via on-line teller terminal.\nAccurately processes payments for such loans as mortgage and installment, ensuring that payments equal the amount due and that all late charges, if applicable, are collected.\nCashes checks and pays money from savings and checking accounts upon verifications of signatures and client account balances. Inspects all checks, bonds, money orders, savings withdrawals, etc. to determine their negotiability.\nEffectively use Client Relationship Management System to document client interactions, calls, incidents and activities.\nWill be expected to develop skills for any of the following duties: opening checking and savings accounts; controlling the vault cash; ATM processing; TCR use and processing; processing check re-orders; opening safe deposit boxes; cash advances; selling bank checks and money orders including logging the needed information.\nRequirements:\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\n1+ year of experience in a customer service role.\nProven communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to perform detail oriented work with a high degree of accuracy.\nAbility to handle multiple priorities and tasks.\nProficient computer skills and ability to learn teller processing software.\nDesire and ability to learn many products/services and thoroughly explain their features and benefits.\nAbility to identify customer needs, recommend applicable products/services and close the sale.\nBenefits:\nAndroscoggin Bank has an amazing benefits package, including a generous PTO plan, paid holidays, paid volunteering time, 401k participation with an ample match (we put money in your 401k even if you don't!), and access to Androscoggin Bank's full insurance benefit package, which includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability.
