We aim to develop and deploy critically needed capabilities that address our customers’ most pressing national security requirements.\nABOUT THE JOB\nWe are looking for a Electrical Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Reston, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for Full Cycle PCB design including collecting requirements, schematic design, component selection, supervision or completion of layout, bring-up, test, debug and integration with the system. \nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nWork with a cross-functional team to design market leading hardware products.\nFull cycle PCB design including collecting requirements, schematic design, component selection, supervision or completion of layout, bring-up, test, debug and integration with the system.\nDrive product maturity through rapid prototyping, design verification, and qualification activities.\nApply modern design standards and guidelines to create high-reliability, highly manufacturable assemblies.\nImplement combinations of high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and high-power designs.\nLead the team in establishing internal guidelines for design for manufacturing (DFM) and quality fabrication and assembly outputs.\nConduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews.\nLow level firmware development for bring-up and test.\nRoot cause analysis in support of production operations.\nWork in a fast-paced environment, having to juggle multiple concurrent projects and customers.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\n4+ years of professional experience in hardware product development.\nFull understanding of PCB Layout techniques to meet mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing requirements.\nAbility to read and interpret schematics and apply best practices appropriate for each design.\nFamiliarity with standard interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB, etc.\nFamiliarity with common MCU, CPU, FPGA devices and technologies.\nKnowledge of modern analog and digital electronics and electronic circuits.\nAbility to determine work priorities based on broad direction from management.\nExperience using Altium Designer or equivalent E-CAD tools.\nExcellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with others.\nAbility to work within our company and team culture.\nMust have an active U.S. Secret security clearance.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nUnderstanding of MIL-STD-810 and relevant military environmental qualification standards.\nUnderstanding of MIL-STD-461 and relevant military electromagnetic compatibility standards.\n\nUS Salary Range\n$129,000—$171,000 USD\nThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
