There are two sub-teams. The first is Sourcing and procurement; they are responsible for determining how we will source materials, managing the purchase order process, and owning the vendor relationship. The second is the Material Management and Flow; they are responsible for receiving material in, keeping it physically and digitally organized in the warehouse, kitting it to the production line, and packaging it for shipment once transformed into the final product.\nABOUT THE JOB\nAs a Materials Associate, you will join our Supply Chain team in Morrisville, NC. The right person for this role has excellent organization skills as well as great attention to detail and customer service skills. Success in this role requires an unrelenting desire to adapt, grow, overcome challenges, and constantly improve.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nProcess shipping and receiving at the Morrisville, NC location.\nPrepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, labeling, loading, and securing product.\nEnsure the orderly kitting of material for work orders by review the queue, picking the material, delivering to the production line, and marking the kitting request as complete\nEnsure orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product for final distribution.\nComplete cycle counts and conduct all warehouse activities with inventory accuracy as a top priority.\nMaintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.\nOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signal machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks and loading docks.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\n2+ years as a warehouse associate or equivalent role\n2+ years forklift experience, licensed\nFamiliar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and/or other warehouse management and inventory control tooling\nFamiliar with Microsoft Office or equivalent office management tooling\nExcellent customer service skills\nAbility to prioritize tasks efficiently\nAbility to lift 50 lbs\nValid driver’s license\nEligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance\nPREFERRED:\nHeavy equipment experience - crane, straddle carrier(Combilift)\nExperience with handling government or defense property\nUS Hourly Range\n$21.49—$34.14 USD\nThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
