System Deployment Engineers work in complex environments with shared environmental responsibility with our customers. They navigate the ambiguous landscape with efficiency to deliver the right customer outcomes. We are currently growing our teams in Costa Mesa, CA, Seattle, WA, Oahu, HI, Washington, DC, and Raleigh, NC.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nEnable network expansion through installation of both hardware and software in support of Anduril customer missions\nTroubleshoot complex installation issues, driving short term resolution and identifying long term solutions\nBe familiar with Anduril system capabilities as a data and applications platform and be able to educate customers\nParticipate in customer demonstrations and exercises\nWork with site reliability engineers to provide and refine requirements for tooling and systems to support customer outcomes\nWork with mission software engineers to ensure supportability of custom system integrations\nIdentify and document opportunities for system improvements\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nActive US Secret security clearance \nSTEM degree or equivalent technical experience\nExperience delivering and maintaining systems that run on air-gapped and security-hardened networks\nAbility to understand, debug, and modify software written languages such as Go, Python, Rust, or C++\nWillingness to travel 25-50%\nMinimum 4 years of operations and engineering experience\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nComfort with operating independently in isolated, austere, and dynamic environments while being the sole representative of Anduril\nExperience in the technical, programmatic, and operational challenges of developing and deploying autonomous weapon systems across network enclaves\nExtensive hands-on field operations and systems administration experience\nAdministration experience in networking, storage, and operating systems\nDemonstrated ability to solve problems in ambiguous environments to enable customer mission success\nExperience working with cross-functional engineering teams and external customers\nExperience performing data-driven root cause analysis on complex systems\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nHold a DoD 8570 IAT Level 2+ certification\nTechnical expertise and demonstrated performance in one or more of the following areas: networking, cloud technologies, hardware design, and/or cybersecurity\nAbility to obtain a US TS security clearance with SCI eligibility\nUS Salary Range\n$143,000—$194,000 USD\nThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
