The team’s north star is to provide highly available and resilient cloud services, high-performance edge software, and the latest geospatial data to support all Anduril warfighter missions.\nABOUT THE JOB\nWe are looking for Software Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will work on cloud infrastructure, edge software, and data related projects. You will design and implement capabilities that are part of Lattice in the cloud, and at the edge. This will require you to work across many business lines inside of Anduril to understand their needs and to synthesize solutions that can be used by the entire company. If you're hands-on, think long-term, and are dedicated to delivering indispensable software platforms, this role is for you.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nBuild data ingestion pipelines that process large geospatial datasets\nCreate a platform that lets users access geospatial data\nBuild edge software that enables high performance offline access to geospatial data\nCollaborate with other Lattice service teams and Anduril business lines to design and build solutions that meet the needs of all business lines\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\n3-7 years working with a variety of programming languages such as Go, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Rust, etc.\nExperience with industry standard cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), Kubernetes, CI/CD and GitOps tools, and software infrastructure fundamentals (networking, security, distributed systems)\nHave experience working with customers to deliver novel software capabilities\nLove building platform and infrastructure tooling that enables other software engineers to scale their output\nEligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nYou've built or invented something: an app, a website, game, startup\nPrevious experience working in an engineering setting: a startup (or startup-like environment), engineering school, etc. If you've succeeded in a low structure, high autonomy environment you'll succeed here!\nProfessional software development lifecycle experience using tools such as version control, CICD systems, etc.\nA deep, demonstrated understanding of how computers and networks work, from a single desktop to a multi-cluster cloud node\nExperience building scalable backend software systems with various data storage and processing requirements\nAbility to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases\nExperience implementing robot or autonomous vehicle testing frameworks in a software-in-the-loop or hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) environment\nExperience with modern build and deployment tooling (e.g. Crossplane, Terraform)\nExperience designing complex software systems, and iterating upon designs via a technical design review process\nFamiliarity with industry standard monitoring, logging, and data management tools and best practices\nA bias towards rapid delivery and iteration\nUS Salary Range\n$166,000—$220,000 USD\nThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
