We are currently seeking talented technologists to join our mission and redefine the future of defense technology.\nAbout the Job\nWe are looking to hire a Software Engineer to join our growing Battlespace Awareness team. In this role, you'll provide software engineering and development support for several of the team's core tools, and for candidates with an ML background, help stand up new ML infrastructure that improves how the team optimizes system parameters and detects performance regressions in CI.\nRequired Qualifications\nProfessional experience in one or more of Python, Rust, C++, or C, with a clear track record of using these languages professionally\nSolid software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, functional programming, and REST API design\nExperience building low-latency or real-time software\nExperience with software testing, including Robot Framework testing and integration test development\nComfortable using AI coding assistants (Claude or Codex) as part of your day-to-day workflow\nExperience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines\nMachine learning background particularly in:Hyperparameter optimization\nAnomaly detection\nExplainable ML (e.g., Bayesian ML)\n\nMust be authorized to work in the United States\nEligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance\nPreferred Qualifications\nTypeScript or JavaScript, React, and/or NodeJS\nPytorch\nPython FastAPI\nCesiumJS\nExperience with faster-than-real-time (FTRT) simulation\nExperience building Slackbot integrations.\nMaster's, PhD, or 2-3+ years of professional experience in machine learning, especially model deployment \nWe request transcripts as part of the early application process to understand your academic background and how your coursework supports the skills deemed critical for the role.
