This team will provide Model Based Systems Engineering and Requirements Based Testing artifacts which will be used in support of product development, delivery, and sustainment of advanced mission autonomy systems.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nRed-team designs, models, and analyses across a program\nBuild models and simulations needed to prove or break a claim.\nWork as a systems engineer to support Program Management, Mission Software Engineers, and Operations Analysts.\nCommunicate complex results, including strong visual presentation of data, to engineers, leadership, and stakeholders\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nCurrently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance\nB.S. in aerospace, mechanical, computer science or similar engineering or technical field\n2+ years Systems Engineering Experience across the life cycle. The more, the better\nExperience with MODSIM environments like AFSIM or JSE\nUnderstanding of underlying MODSIM environment interfaces and behaviors\nExperience with requirements analysis and system design in a government context\nProficiency with writing and owning systems-level requirements\nStrong engineering background in a relevant field (Aerospace, Dynamics & Controls, GNC, Systems, or similar)\nExperience with Systems Engineering, Requirements Elicitation and Management, Integration, and Test Activities on complex systems - DoD Weapon Systems, Space Systems, etc...\nExperience with SysML, DoDAF, UAFP, or similar\nExperience developing various model based system engineering artifacts - Operational Viewpoints, System Viewpoints, activity diagrams, use case diagrams, BDDs, IBDs, parametric diagrams, etc...\nExperience with Cameo MagicDraw or similar systems engineering software (Rhapsody, SparxEA, etc...)\nOutstanding communication skills, including visual presentation of complex data\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nHands-on track record of both designing/building and analyzing real engineering systems - not analysis-only\nDemonstrated ability to find problems others miss: failure analysis, adversarial review, independent verification, or equivalent\nProven track record of independently owning and executing deliverables with little to no management\nProficiency with physics-math scripting (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, Python + numpy/scipy)\nUS Salary Range\n$146,000—$190,000 USD\nThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
