As we expand, we're seeking a motivated and methodical engineer who is prepared to tackle the challenges of system testing across a wide spectrum of capabilities and contribute to the iterative development of the systems-under-test.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nContribute to developmental testing of tactical systems across multiple division, including support to both ground and air testing.\nWith oversight, integrate Anduril’s Test and Evaluation process into various programs and ensure adherence throughout the life of the program.\nTake on new challenges, create a path forward, and either see solutions to conclusion or hand off solutions for execution by other engineers.\nWith supervision, ensure safe operations of all testing efforts in accordance with established operating procedures and practices\nWork collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware engineers, and product managers, to define test requirements and ensure alignment with system capabilities and mission objectives.\nSupport the continuous improvement of test procedures, safety protocols, and documentation standards to uphold the integrity of all test operations.\nWith guidance, coordinate with private/government test sites to test and evaluate systems and software\nAnalyze data from tests to validate system performance and identify areas for improvement\nBecome a technical resource in the product(s) you are supporting\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution.\n0-2 years of test engineering experience, other engineer discipline experience, or comparable skill (i.e. military exercise planning & evaluation)\nHands-on project experience, whether through internships, senior capstone projects, personal builds, or hobby engineering that demonstrates practical problem-solving ability\nNo extensive test process experience required, but a willingness to learn the rigor of formal test planning, safety review boards, Flight/Test Readiness Reviews, and technical report writing is essential\nAbility to interpret and analyze test data using tools such as MATLAB, Python, or similar\nProactively seeks solutions and takes ownership of problems rather than waiting for tasking\nMust be coachable and able to rapidly implement feedback from senior engineers and management\nStrong written and verbal communication skills for documenting test results and briefing findings\nWillingness to work flexible hours and on test ranges in field conditions, including remote or austere environments\nFlexibility to adapt to varying schedules and willingness to travel to test sites as needed. Up to 50% travel during critical phases of testing.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.\nIn this role, you will be subject to pre-employment and randomized substance screening, as required by the Company.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nCurrent Secret or Top Secret security clearance\nDemonstrated interest in engineering beyond the classroom - hobby projects, competition teams (AIAA, SAE, FSAE, Design-Build-Fly), or personal tinkering encouraged\nDirect experience in the development, testing, and deployment of autonomy or imaging systems in a defense or aerospace context.\nFamiliarity with FAA, FCC, and other relevant regulations\nRC pilot experience in Groups 1 - 3 rotary and fixed wing UAVs\nFamiliarity with software development practices and experience with programming languages used in autonomy and robotics (e.g., Python, C++, ROS).\nExperience with the Department of War\nUS Salary Range\n$86,000—$114,000 USD\nThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
