This capability lets users create “what ifs” to evaluate mission concepts, drive future mission tactics, and accelerate mission understanding. This new team will provide rigorous analytical products which will be used to guide product development and convince customers of our value advantage. These products will often be used for Business Development and Engineering purposes.\nAs a Warfighter Research & Systems Analyst, you will be a key team member with a background as an Operations Research and Systems Analyst (ORSA), data scientist, or wargamer, possibly with an operational military background. You will use your understanding of tactical wargaming and simulation to create scenarios, develop models, and support analysis to demonstrate the value of Anduril's systems. Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) will often complement demonstration events that together leave no doubt that Anduril offers real (not PowerPoint) warfighter capability. \nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nConduct joint and combined tactical (engagement-level and mission-level) analysis. Employ operations research, systems analysis, and wargaming to develop methodologies for analysis.\nLeverage high-end models and simulations, including Anduril’s Lattice Mission Simulation and the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM), to conduct studies.\nPerform data analysis and utilize computer models to devise solutions for intricate challenges, applying the principles of scientific inquiry and advanced analytics.\nDesign, execute, and analyze tactical-level wargames to assess autonomous system capabilities and refine tactics .\nDevelop physics-based models and relevant operational scenarios for wargaming exercises, with an emphasis on modeling red and blue force systems and tactics .\nCreate and drive simulated entities during live play as a white cell or red cell operator to ensure realistic and challenging wargame execution.\nAssess, decompose, and solve complex problems, conveying complex information and effectively communicating results to internal and external stakeholders.\nCollaborate with engineering and business development teams to demonstrate Anduril's capabilities and value proposition through rigorous, data-driven analysis.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nCurrently possess and be able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance \n5 years of experience in Operations Research, Systems Analysis (ORSA), or a related discipline.\nExperience with tactical experiment and wargaming design, including scenario development, data analytics, and trade-space analysis.\nDemonstrated experience in modeling and simulation for military missions, with a preference for a background in red force tactics, modeling, and simulation.\nExperience with DoD M&S tools (e.g., AFSIM, Brawler, Suppressor, ESAMS, Command PE).\nProficiency with C++ or Python for physics-based modeling and scripting.\nAbility to assess and solve problems, and to effectively communicate results through strong verbal and written skills\nMust be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nAbility to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret security clearance\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.\nOperational military background with a subsequent transition into an ORSA or Operations Analyst position.\nExperience with AFSIM plug-in development or other advanced M&S framework customization .\nProficiency with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, or scripting languages like MATLAB/SIMULINK .\nGraduate of a military operations research course, such as the ORSA Military Application Course (ORSA-MAC), or equivalent service school.\nExperience with Joint Combined Arms operations (e.g., OCA/DCA, ISR, SEAD/DEAD, Electronic Attack, or Long-Range Fires missions)\nUS Salary Range\n$147,000—$196,000 USD\nThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
