And every single time this money moves, everyone holds their breath a little bit. Did I really send these millions of dollars to the right bank account? Will my investor capital arrive on time for my deployment?\nNova is the payment network that solves this. Within AngelList, we’ve been running it internally for the past five years, moving $90B between funds and investors without the risk of sending money to the wrong place. We’re now extending this network outside AngelList: to the rest of the venture, private equity, and real estate.\nYou will own the design vision for the Nova business and execution across the team for all products within this strategy.\n\nResponsibilities\nDesign thoughtful product experiences on both sides of the payments network, creating connected experiences for funds, investors, and the teams that support them.\nDrive scoping for the most ambiguous areas of the product vision, including how these products will interact with other ones (both within AngelList and beyond).\nSet the standard for visual and interaction patterns within this business area that other designers on the team will calibrate to.\nTalk regularly with customers, using research and leverage insights to lead cross-functional teams in driving thoughtful, high-ROI solutions\nYou might be a good fit if you:\nHave 7+ years of experience, and owned company level product bets end to end.\nSee the creation of a new payment network as an exciting design challenge, and understand the complexity behind rethinking the way funds and investors interact\nAre a systems thinker with interaction and visual craft strong enough that the work itself sets the bar.\nUnderstand that deep thinking, clear product vision, and customer obsession are some of the most important things designers bring to a team.","description_format":"text","description_chars":1912,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":7,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Equity"],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Financial Software & Embedded Finance","Custody & Fund Administration"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-08-14T16:05:02Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":62,"band":"ok","label":"Likely open","p_open":1,"p_active":0.86,"p_room":0.72,"age_days":83,"expected_fill_days":216,"reasons":["conf:3","win:mid","crowd:"],"computed_at":"2026-11-06T05:58:05Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/angellist-product-designer-nova","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/angellist-product-designer-nova.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-11-06T19:19:16Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":2438,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-11-07T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":34787},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=34787"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fangellist-product-designer-nova"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fangellist-product-designer-nova"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fangellist-product-designer-nova"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/angellist-product-designer-nova\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fangellist-product-designer-nova"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":106561}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"angellist.com","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":106561},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people);
