This role will focus on tracking and optimizing the performance of our pro sales team by leveraging advanced analytics to drive strategic business decisions and develop, monitor, and adjust compensation and commission plans. You will work closely with sales executives, sales operations teams, and product managers to determine optimal staffing levels, report on and analyze the performance of our sales reps, and identify actions to optimize productivity and profitability. As a key contributor, you will also support priority initiatives and the launch of new tools to improve overall sales efficiency.\nWhat you'll do\nBuild and maintain dashboards and reporting to monitor the performance of Angi’s sales organization\n\nReview business, staffing, and turnover trends and develop forecasting models to determine optimal staffing and hiring levels across Angi’s sales teams\n\nDesign and implement sales commission plans that align with company goals, drive performance, and ensure competitiveness in the market\n\nAnalyze sales performance and compensation data to evaluate effectiveness, identify trends and gaps, and recommend adjustments to optimize results\n\nDevelop models to calculate the profitability of sales rep activity and make recommendations to optimize sales performance\n\nBuild analytics plans to support A/B testing, evaluation, and launch of new sales strategies, tools, and processes\n\nPresent findings and recommendations to senior leadership, translating complex data into actionable insights that support business strategy and growth\n\nWho you are\nBachelor's degree in Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)\n\n6+ years of analytical experience in an e-commerce, marketplace, or home services-related field\n\nStrong proficiency in SQL as well as data analysis tools such as Python or R\n\nExpertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker\n\nAbility to build complex, but clear analytical models and forecasts in Excel and Google Sheets\n\nExperience analyzing and making recommendations to sales and commission plans for a large sales organization\n\nExperience leveraging AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cortex Code) for automation and daily workflow efficiency\n\nExperience with headcount planning and sales organization support analytics preferred\n\nProven ability to develop and apply predictive models to enhance sales performance\n\nStrong communication skills to present complex data to cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment\n\nExperience in coaching or mentoring junior team members\n\nWe value diversity\nWe know that the best ideas come from teams where diverse points of view uncover new solutions to hard problems.
