This role involves managing projects under the NEC3 contract suite, with a focus on Option E (Pre-Contract Planning) and Option A (Priced Contract with Activity Schedule).\nThe successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and delivery teams to ensure robust management of contractual obligations and compliance with Anglian Water’s governance standards. The role is employed by Anglian Water and involves working in partnership with framework partners Barhale, Kier, and MGroup.\nWhat will you be doing as our Project Engineer\nYou will be responsible for providing engineering leadership and technical assurance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are developed, designed, constructed and commissioned in accordance with business requirements, regulatory obligations, governance standards and health & safety expectations. The role works collaboratively with internal stakeholders, contractors and delivery partners to develop solutions, manage risk, assure technical compliance and deliver sustainable business outcomes that provide value to customers and the business.\nA little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours\nScope technical solutions that meet operational and business needs.\nChallenge data, assumptions, and drivers to identify the best value solution.\nLead Delivery Assurance meetings across the project lifecycle.\nReview project outputs to ensure governance and compliance requirements are met.\nProactively identify and manage project risks and opportunities.\nBuild strong relationships with contractors, designers, operational teams, and stakeholders.\nUndertake site assurance activities during construction and commissioning.\nProvide engineering expertise throughout delivery and own technical issues through to resolution.\nEducation to A level of equivalent\nAppropriate engineering qualifications (desirable)\nKnowledge of H&S legislation as well as CDM Regulation\nWater Industry Experience\nUnderstanding of NEC contracts\nFull UK Drivers Licence\nWhy Anglian Water?\nAt Anglian Water, our people are at the heart of everything we do, and we ensure their hard work is recognised and rewarded.
