You will lead, develop and performance manage a multi-disciplined team of Works Technicians who operate all supply assets and undertake process and asset maintenance tasks across our water supply infrastructure.\nYou will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of dams, water treatment works, water storage points and pump stations. Depending on the area you manage, you will oversee the operation and maintenance of groundwater and/or complex surface WTWs and be responsible for the safe operation of high-hazard processes such as toxic gas installations.\nYou will be responsible for delivering the business plan targets and delivering against our Outcome Delivery Incentives (ODIs) and aligning your team to other programmes and initiatives across the business.\nKey responsibilities include:\nLeading and developing a team of operational professionals, creating a high-performing and safety-focused culture. \nEnsuring the safe operation of water treatment works, pumping stations, reservoirs and associated infrastructure. \nMaintaining excellent water quality, environmental compliance and asset performance. \nManaging operational incidents and providing leadership during emergency situations. \nWorking closely with Asset Management, Networks, Operational Management Centre and delivery partners to optimise performance and investment outcomes. \nManaging significant operational budgets and ensuring best value from operational expenditure and investment programmes. \nDriving customer-focused service improvements and helping deliver our business performance commitments. \nWhat does it take to be a Supply Manager?\nDetailed strong operational knowledge of the abstraction, treatment, transmission and storage of potable water \nConsiderable operational management experience. \nProven leadership skills and ability to develop a team for enhanced performance. \nProven financial management skills and ability to control a budget. \nHealth and safety management qualified to a minimum of IOSH level. \nDemonstrable experience of integrating large capital schemes into operational sites \nWhy Anglian Water? \nAnglian Water is not your typical water company.
