Through safe and reliable transport services, you will help residents stay connected to their community, attend appointments and activities.\nJoin a caring and collaborative team where respect, compassion and service excellence are at the heart of everything we do.\nYour Opportunity\nThis is a casual opportunity at Castle Hill Village, with standard shifts from 7:30am to 3:30pm. There may also be occasional evening shifts between 5:30pm and 8:30pm as required.\nAs a Bus Driver, you will provide safe and dependable transport services for residents. Working closely with village teams, clinical staff and residents, you will help ensure residents can access services, appointments, activities and events safely and comfortably.\nYou will also play an important role in supporting resident wellbeing through positive interactions and a customer-focused approach.\nWith professionalism, patience and a resident-centred mindset, you will:\nResident Transport and Support\nSafely transport residents throughout the Seniors Communities site and local community \nOperate the vehicle safely and efficiently in accordance with road rules and organisational policies \nMaintain transport schedules and ensure services run as smoothly as possible \nTreat residents with dignity, respect and empathy and provide appropriate assistance to residents accessing transport services \nCommunication & Collaboration\nWork cooperatively with village teams, clinic staff and Residential Care teams to coordinate transport services \nAct as a key contact between villages and the Sisson Clinic regarding resident transport arrangements \nCommunicate effectively with residents and staff regarding schedules and transport requirements \nSafety & Compliance\nMaintain a safe, clean and tidy vehicle and work environment \nComply with workplace health and safety requirements and safe driving practices \nIdentify and report hazards, incidents and risks in a timely manner \nMaintain current First Aid certification and provide first aid assistance when required \nWhat You'll Bring\nYou are a reliable, safety-focused and people-oriented professional who enjoys working with older Australians and making a positive difference in their day.\nWhat's Required\nCurrent Light Rigid (LR) NSW Driver Licence for 10+ seater bus \nCurrent First Aid Certificate \nAbility to confidently and safely operate vehicles of 3 tonnes or more \nAbility to assist residents with varying mobility needs \nWhat’s Preferred\nStrong awareness of passenger and road safety \nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills \nStrong time management skills and ability to follow transport schedules \nAbility to work independently and as part of a team \nWhy Anglicare?\nWe provide meaningful opportunities and choice, both for the individuals and communities we support, and the dedicated people here who make it happen.\nAt Anglicare, you’ll get the security, stability and opportunities that come with a strong, well-established organisation that’s ready for the future.
