This role is pivotal in ensuring the operational effectiveness and efficiency of our home, delivering the highest levels of care and wellbeing for our customers.\nThis is a 12-month maternity leave cover role based in Dorothy Boyt House, Malabar.\nKey Responsibilities (not limited to):\nCustomer Engagement & Wellbeing:Assist Residential Manger with complaint management and contribute to resident wellbeing.\nIn collaboration with the Residential Manager, develop strategies in response to Resident Surveys and feedback to address care and service concerns.\n\n Commercial:Manage all non-clinical administrative and commercial functions to achieve Home key performance indicators, including occupancy, budgets (expenditure and revenue) and care minutes.\nDevelop and implement control measure to address any adverse trends and variances to targets.\n\nPeople Leadership:Lead, coach, and manage an engaged team.\nUphold Anglicare’s Vision and Mission and encourage collaboration across teams.\n\n Workforce Management:Effectively manage large complex rosters, annual leave, sick leave, agency and contingency plans to ensure this aligns with Home service level targets (SLTs).\nEnsure accurate completion of HR and payroll functions.\nIn collaboration with the Residential Manager, conduct annual performance reviews and succession planning strategies for staff.\n\nCompliance & Quality Assurance:Adhere to Anglicare’s policies and champion a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.\nMaintain accurate staff compliance records and ensure a safe workplace.\n\nKey Skills\nExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.\nFinancial acumen and understanding of commercial drivers within aged care space.\nMeticulous attention to detail.\nExperience in managing large complex rosters, preferably within an aged care setting\nAbility to manage work efficiently and effectively.\nLeadership skills to build trust, coach, and engage the team.\nDecision-making skills within the area of responsibility.\nAbout you:\nDemonstrated experience in a senior administrative and/or management role.\nExperience with rostering and associated systems\nProven track record of successful KPI management.\nExperience managing budgets and commercial KPIs.\nExperience in managing complex rosters and diverse workforce teams\nFamiliarity with HRIS, payroll, time management, and financial systems.\nExperience managing a team and fostering a growth mindset.\nWhy Anglicare?\nFor 170 years Anglicare has been serving those in need - providing care to older people and services to the vulnerable.
