Today, over 40,000 people rely on our services each year, and we're continuing to expand our impact.\nWe're looking for an experienced Security Architect to join our Technology team on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, helping strengthen and mature our cyber security capability across the organisation.\nYour opportunity\nAs our Security Architect, you'll lead the direction of security architecture across Anglicare's technology environment, ensuring secure-by-design principles are embedded into technology solutions and initiatives.\nWorking closely with Technology and business stakeholders, you'll help shape security strategies, establish governance practices, and provide architectural guidance across cloud, applications, networks, identity and data platforms.\nMost importantly, your work will help protect the systems and services that support some of the community's most vulnerable people.\nKey responsibilities\nWith integrity and resilience, you will:\nLead the cyber security architecture strategy across cloud, network, applications, data, identity and access management (IAM), and identity governance and administration (IGA) domains. \nDevelop and maintain the security architecture roadmap, aligning security initiatives with enterprise architecture and business objectives. \nRepresent Cyber Security within architecture governance forums and contribute to technology decision-making. \nEstablish and lead security architecture review processes across projects and initiatives. \nDesign and maintain security reference architectures, standards and blueprints for key platforms and services. \nLead threat modelling and security risk assessments using recognised frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and STRIDE. \nProvide security architecture guidance to project and operational teams across the organisation. \nSupport the ongoing improvement of security architecture practices, standards and governance. \nAbout you\nYou are an experienced security professional who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to build effective working relationships across a broad range of stakeholders.\nYou'll bring:\nProven experience delivering end-to-end security architecture across complex technology environments. \nExpert-level capability in at least two specialist security domains, such as: \nIdentity Governance & Administration (IGA) \nIdentity & Access Management (IAM) \nData Loss Prevention (DLP) \nZero Trust Architecture \nSecure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) \nCloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) \nStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. \nExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver governance, risk and security outcomes. \nA pragmatic and collaborative approach to balancing security requirements with business needs. \nTo be successful in this role, you'll have:\nTertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Risk Management or a related discipline. \nIndustry certification in CISSP, CCSP or SABSA. \nExperience working with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, SABSA or Zachman. \nAt least 7 years' experience in a Security Architect or similar cyber security architecture role. \nDemonstrated experience conducting security architecture maturity assessments and improvement initiatives. \nExperience operating within large and complex organisational environments. \nStrong knowledge of risk and security frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001 and recognised control frameworks. \nExposure to Australian regulatory and compliance requirements such as APRA CPS 234 and OAIC obligations will be highly regarded. \nProven ability to work independently while partnering effectively with technical and business stakeholders. \nWhy Anglicare?\nAt Anglicare, you'll be part of an organisation where your work has real purpose.
