With a planned return to longwall production by Q4 2027, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to a major mine restart and help shape the future of underground mining.\nWorking alongside experienced professionals, you will play a role in implementing leading-edge technology, automation, monitoring systems and operational improvements that will define how the mine operates for years to come.\n Reporting to the General Manager, this is a key site senior leadership role within our Grosvenor operation. As Commercial Manager, you will be a critical partner to Operations, accountable for driving financial performance, strengthening governance, and shaping strategic decision-making across the site.\nYou will lead a high-performing finance function and play a visible role in influencing and impacting outcomes across safety, production and long-term value creation.\nFurther responsibilities include:-\nProvide strategic commercial leadership, influencing operational and financial outcomes across the site\nPartner with operations to optimise performance, cost discipline and value delivery aligned to production strategy\nOwn the site’s financial performance, ensuring robust governance, accurate reporting and full compliance\nLead planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles, delivering clear, forward-looking insights to support decision-making\nDrive data-led performance analysis, identifying risks, opportunities and actionable improvements\nLead capital governance and prioritisation, ensuring disciplined investment decisions across the lifecycle\nEmbed a culture of continuous improvement and commercial thinking across site leadership\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with Joint Venture partners and key external stakeholders\nLead, coach and uplift capability within a high-performing finance team\n You will succeed in this role if you ’re a commercially astute finance leader who thrives in a complex, operational environment and enjoys partnering with stakeholders at all levels.
