Partnering closely with commercial, operational, and finance stakeholders, you will be responsible for delivering insightful management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, and business partnering support.\nThe role will contribute to the development of financial plans, provide robust challenge and analysis around commercial performance, and drive enhanced visibility of key business metrics including sales, margins, operating expenditure, and capital investments. You will take ownership of critical performance reporting and profitability analysis, helping stakeholders understand business drivers, risks, and opportunities while supporting informed decision-making.\nIn addition, you will support capital expenditure planning and investment appraisal activities, oversee product and channel profitability analysis, contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems, and help develop reporting tools and dashboards that improve business insight. commercial finance function.\nKey Responsibilities\nFinancial Planning & Analysis\nPrepare monthly management reporting packs, including detailed variance analysis against budget, forecast, prior year, and strategic plan. \nAnalyse financial and operational performance to identify key trends, risks, opportunities, and business drivers. \nSupport the production of insightful management reporting and business review presentations for senior leadership, translating financial results into clear commercial insights and actionable recommendations. \nSupport the delivery of timely, accurate, and consistent financial information to enable effective decision-making and financial control. \nDevelop and maintain forecasting models to improve visibility and predict business performance. \nPerform ad hoc financial analysis and scenario modelling to support strategic and operational initiatives. \nPartner with stakeholders to understand performance drivers and recommend actions to improve financial outcomes. \nBudgeting, Forecasting & Strategic Planning\nSupport the annual budget, periodic forecast, and long-range planning processes across retail, wholesale, and corporate functions. \nCoordinate planning activities across multiple markets and functions, ensuring submissions are accurate, complete, and delivered on time. \nChallenge assumptions and key planning inputs to ensure forecasts are realistic, robust, and aligned with strategic objectives. \nConsolidate regional and functional plans and prepare presentations for senior management review. \nProduce detailed Plan vs Prior Year, Plan vs Forecast, and Plan vs Budget analyses, highlighting key business drivers and risks. \nSupport the development of driver-based planning models and continuous enhancements to the planning process. \nAssist stakeholders in identifying actions to mitigate sales shortfalls, cost pressures, and other business risks. \nCommercial Finance & Business Partnering\nAct as a trusted finance business partner to commercial, operational, and functional stakeholders. \nProvide financial insight and challenge to support decision-making, strategic initiatives, and business performance improvement. \nSupport the evaluation of new business opportunities, partnerships, and commercial initiatives through financial modelling and investment analysis. \nBuild strong relationships with international markets and central functions, promoting consistency in reporting, planning, and performance management. \nProduct, Channel & Margin Analysis\nOwn and enhance product, category, channel, and customer profitability reporting. \nAnalyse gross margin performance, identifying key drivers of variances including pricing, sales mix, product costs, and volume movements. \nMonitor profitability trends and provide recommendations to improve margins and overall business performance. \nDevelop reporting and dashboards that improve visibility of sales, margin, and profitability performance across the business. \nDeliver regular insight into product and channel performance, highlighting opportunities for growth and efficiency. \nCapital Expenditure (Capex) & Investment Appraisal\nSupport the annual Capex budgeting and forecasting process. \nMonitor capital expenditure against approved budgets and provide regular reporting on project performance and spend. \nPartner with project owners to track delivery of expected benefits and investment outcomes. \nSupport preparation of investment committee papers and presentations for management approval. \nManagement Reporting & Month-End Activities\nCoordinate month-end close activities with Financial Accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting. \nReview actual results and validate financial performance across markets and business units. \nPrepare and maintain monthly performance dashboards covering sales, gross margin, operating expenses, profitability, and key KPIs. \nDeliver meaningful commentary explaining performance against budget, forecast, and prior year. \nSupport cost centre owners with financial analysis, cost management, and performance tracking. \nIdentify opportunities to improve reporting quality, efficiency, and business insight. \nSystems, Reporting & Process Improvement\nMaintain and enhance FP&A reporting tools, dashboards, and performance metrics. \nSupport the administration and development of OneStream and other financial planning and reporting systems. \nAct as a key contact for system-related support within the FP&A community. \nDrive automation initiatives to reduce manual reporting and improve analytical capability. \nParticipate in finance transformation, system enhancement, and reporting improvement projects. \nAssist with user acceptance testing, process documentation, and training where required. \nContinuously seek opportunities to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability of finance processes. \nStakeholder Management\nBuild effective working relationships across finance, commercial, and operational. \nPresent financial information confidently to both finance and non-finance audiences. \nTake ownership of key workstreams and contribute to the ongoing development of the FP&A function. \nOther Responsibilities\nServe as a key point of contact between central finance functions and regional markets. \nSupport both statutory and management reporting requirements as required. \nContribute to special projects, strategic reviews, and business initiatives. \nUndertake additional responsibilities consistent with the scope and seniority of the role. \nChampion a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, accountability, and commercial focus. \n Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). \nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline. \n2+ years of PQE in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Commercial Finance, Management Reporting, or related finance roles. \nProven experience preparing monthly management accounts, financial reporting packs, and executive-level presentations. \nExperience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, preferably within a multinational business environment. \nStrong experience performing financial analysis, variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability assessments. \nExperience working closely with cross-functional stakeholders and business leaders to influence decision-making. \nPrevious experience supporting month-end close processes and collaborating with Financial Accounting teams. \nExperience consolidating financial information across multiple markets, business units, or regions. \nExperience working with ERP, consolidation, or planning systems (preferably OneStream, SAP, Oracle, or similar). \nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and data analysis techniques. \nFinancial modelling and forecasting capabilities. \nExcellent PowerPoint skills with the ability to create concise and impactful executive presentations. \nUnderstanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, and cash flow drivers. \nExperience with BI and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar is desirable. \nKnowledge of OneStream planning system is highly desirable.\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. \nExcellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. \nComfortable operating in a fast-paced, international business environment.
