The successful candidate will operate as a senior finance partner to management, ship-owning clients and operational stakeholders, while building a high-performing and scalable finance organisation.\nProvide strategic and operational leadership across vessel accounting and related finance functions.\nOwn the quality, timeliness and governance of vessel OPEX reporting across a large and complex portfolio.\nAct as a senior finance partner to Principals, Ship Owners, Fleet leadership, Technical teams and senior management.\nProvide oversight and challenge on financial reporting, vessel funding, variance analysis, controls and significant expenditure.\nLead and develop multi-functional teams, strengthening capability, accountability, succession planning and performance.\nResolve complex financial, operational and client matters requiring senior judgement and commercial awareness.\nDefine and deliver the function’s transformation roadmap, including process redesign, centralisation, migration and operating-model changes.\nDrive measurable improvements in productivity, accuracy and service quality through systems enhancement, automation, analytics and AI-enabled workflows.\nStrengthen financial governance, risk management, internal controls and audit readiness.\nEstablish consistent performance standards, management information and service metrics across the function.\nPartner with regional and global stakeholders on cross-functional finance transformation initiatives.\nRequirements\nDegree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.\nProfessional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA or CMA strongly preferred.\nAt least 10 years of relevant finance experience, including leadership of sizeable or multi-functional teams.\nStrong expertise in financial reporting, management accounting, budgeting, controls, funding and governance.\nProven experience leading finance transformation, organisational change, operating-model redesign or centralisation initiatives.\nDemonstrated success in applying digital tools, automation and AI to deliver measurable operational improvements.\nStrong leadership presence, commercial judgement and ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.\nExperience in maritime, ship management, vessel accounting or another complex, client-facing operational environment preferred.\nAdvanced Excel and ERP-system proficiency; NetSuite experience would be advantageous.\nBenefits\nAbout Anglo-Eastern\nAnglo-Eastern is a global leader in independent ship management services.
