Rather than generalized administrative tasks, you will be assigned a core technical project to own from start to finish. This role offers hands-on experience, culminating in an end-of-program presentation to technical leadership.\nKey Responsibilities\nTake ownership of a dedicated 12-week project, managing timelines and delivering a final report and presentation summarizing key findings and recommendations.\n\nConduct industry, market, and company-specific research to assess mining companies, exploration projects, prospective mining assets, and partnership opportunities.\n\nSupport the evaluation of mining assets and business opportunities through financial modeling, valuation analysis, and commercial due diligence.\n\nGather, organize, and analyze operational, financial, and market data to assess project economics, risks, and investment potential.\n\nAssist with the development of financial models for exploration, development, acquisition, and capital projects to support business and investment decisions.\n\nQualifications & Requirements\nCurrently enrolled as a rising junior in an Undergraduate program student pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related process discipline.\n\nFoundational understanding of open-pit or underground mining methods and operations.\n\nExposure to finance, mergers and acquisitions, and accounting.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.\n\nStrong technical writing, reporting, and presentation skills.\n\nAbility to analyze datasets, draw logical conclusions, and present findings clearly.\n\nA collaborative mindset with an eagerness to learn and proactively ask questions.\n\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States.\n\nValid driver’s license required; willingness to travel to project sites if necessary\n\nFall Recruitment Timeline & Hiring Milestones\nSeptember 15 - October 30, 2026 (Application Review):Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
