Reporting to the Underground Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will provide frontline support and ensure all electrical work is carried out in a safe, timely, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible manner.\nThis role is based at Tropicana Gold Mine on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster, with direct flights provided from Perth and Kalgoorlie to site.\nAbout the Role\nPerforming repairs, maintenance and installation activities on infrastructure such as motors, VSDs, transformers, substations, starter panels, distribution boards, RMUs, ventilation fans, dewatering systems, instrumentation, communications, lighting, and other electrical systems\nCarrying out scheduled statutory work safely and efficiently\nInstalling and maintaining underground reticulation systems to ensure reliable power distribution\nConducting breakdown and maintenance work on underground drilling equipment to minimise downtime\nStudying plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and the sequence of repairs and/or installations\nBeing available after hours as part of a rotating call-out roster and responding to equipment breakdowns as required\nAssisting with equipment maintenance shutdowns and the coordination and execution of power isolations\nThis role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your technical skills in a dynamic mining environment while contributing to the long-term integrity and performance of a world-class gold processing operation.\nAbout You\nPeople are at the heart of everything we do.
