Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do?\nROLE SUMMARY:\nAs the Packaging Engineer at our Jacksonville Brewery, you will be responsible for the continuous improvement of all packaging line equipment and associated systems. This position partners closely with Packaging, Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams to develop and implement sustainable process improvements and equipment reliability to maximize equipment uptime, improve line performance, and optimize maintenance costs across the packaging operation.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\nLead improvements in controls system performance by ensuring timely and quality issues resolution.\n\nDevelop, Document, & Implement process improvements to make the Brewery teams more effective and efficient.\n\nLead capital projects, equipment upgrades, and lifecycle planning, including development of business cases and return-on-investment analyses.\n\nGuide brewery technology staff, peer support teams, contractors and vendors in execution of responsibilities to standards.\n\nPromote and enforce effective change management, support transition and support escalation processes for various design and implementation teams.\n\nSupport the packaging operation in achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to equipment reliability, line efficiency, maintenance performance, and continuous improvement.\n\nLead learning and development initiatives to improve the technical knowledge and skill set of operators and technicians within area of expertise.\n\nMonitor equipment performance trends, analyze reliability data, and drive corrective actions to eliminate chronic losses and failures.\n\nOwn and manage departmental budgets.\n\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.\n\n5+ years of experience in Engineering or in Maintenance leading reliability programs within a high-speed manufacturing, packaging, food and beverage, consumer products, or similar production environment.\n\nDemonstrated experience implementing best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.\n\nExperience supporting packaging equipment and production systems, including automation, controls, and industrial electrical systems.\n\nExperience coaching, developing, and training skilled trades in a unionized manufacturing environment preferred.\n\nStrong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical controls, PLCs, automation, and predictive maintenance technologies.\n\nProven problem-solving and analytical skills with experience conducting root cause analysis and developing business cases.\n\nStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).\n\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies preferred.\n\nWHY ANHEUSER-BUSCH:\nAt Anheuser-Busch, our purpose is to create a future with more cheers.
