Our primary focus isn't solely on maximising profits; instead, we are dedicated to delivering on our mission and ensuring enough profit to sustain our business in the long term.\nKey responsibilities\nLead IT operations, support and service delivery across Animal Trust.\nManage the transition of appropriate services from our MSP to an in-house model.\nProvide hands-on technical support and escalation for complex issues.\nOversee IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365, networks, devices and cybersecurity.\nManage IT suppliers, contracts, budgets, procurement and assets.\nDevelop IT processes, documentation and service improvements.\nSupport site visits, infrastructure changes and new site openings.\nRecruit, manage and develop IT support colleagues as the team grows.\nWork closely with the Platform Manager, maintaining sufficient HaloITSM knowledge to provide operational cover.\nParticipate in the on-call rota for critical out-of-hours issues.\nAbout you\nEssential:\nStrong IT operations and service delivery experience, ideally in a multi-site organisation.\nHands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365, networks, devices and infrastructure.\nExperience managing IT support, escalations, suppliers and service performance.\nExperience managing IT budgets, procurement and CAPEX/OPEX.\nGood understanding of cybersecurity, access management and business continuity.\nStrong troubleshooting, project management and stakeholder-management skills.\nRelevant Microsoft 365/Azure experience or certification.\nCommitment to continuous improvement and learning.\nClean driving licence, access to a vehicle and ability to travel between sites.\nLocated within reasonable travelling distance of Warrington.\nDesirable:\nIT, ITIL, project management or security qualifications.\nExperience bringing outsourced IT services in-house.\nExperience managing IT support teams or supporting new site openings.\nExperience with HaloITSM or similar platforms.\nJob details\nLocation:Warrington, with travel to other sites as required\nContract:Full-time - Permanent \nHours: Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week (share of On-Call duties required) \nClosing date:Friday 20 November 2026\nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
