The Production Supervisor is tasked with ensuring that operations remain a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflow.\nThis position requires an individual with, solid communication skills, takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a growing, progressive company and continue to grow their skills.\nShift: Continental 12 Hour shifts\n(7on-7off)\nWage: Based on skills and experience\nJob Duties and Responsibilities:\nResponsible to insure the efficient operation of production on their shift.\n\nResponsible for managing all resources on the shift to ensure that there is efficient production of material.\n\nParticipate and lead continuous improvement projects related to Lean Manufacturing Principles\n\nDevelops & implements new methods, systems, policies & procedures to ensure efficient & effective operation of all shift manufacturing activities.\n\nImplements corrective action to prevent downtime and maintain consistent production output.\n\nCommunicate and co-ordinate with all departments with regards to all manufacturing issues; communicates all production issues to Production Manager.\n\nEnsure all production data is gathered and reported correctly each day.\n\nTrack performance, analyze data and provide monthly reports\n\nEnsures that all established standards for labour, material utilization and product quality are met.\n\nActively promote safe work and good housekeeping practices consistent with the Safety program by employing daily observation and group safety talks to educate employees on an ongoing basis.\n\nEnforce safe work and good housekeeping practices; alert the Company of any safety hazard or housekeeping concern.\n\nEnsures proper training & job instruction of employees with respect to expected standards of work performance, quality and job safety.\n\nEnsure up to date training and records are maintained.\n\nConducts Performance Evaluation of employees reporting into this function.
